Auto-bidding offline/ technical difficulties?

I'm currently trying to bid on some anime posters via the automated bidding system and it's giving me a message:
"Not sure your request was accepted. Try again later or inquire about a manual bid."

I'm relatively certain that it isn't because the posters are adult-restricted items since I successfully bid on and won 6 of them just yesterday, and right now all 10 or 11 of the current auctions are giving me this same message.

During the time shown most fuctions on YHJ will be down for maintenance and upgrades. This includes bidding, listing, etc. The only thing available will be their search feature.

It is possible that after maintenance it will effect SMJ's bidding system. If that is the case we will work to have it back up as soon as possible.

Please do not submit manual bids during the YHJ maintenance. All auctions should be extended 5 hours if they are scheduled to end during the...

Hi there, I paid for an item, and requested special shipping instructions. How do I know they have been applied ? Also, my first items I bought were magazines and a book, I requested JAL shipping but it appears they have been sent EMS ??? how can I confirm this ? Thank you Richard

(March 10th, 2009)
Afraid shipping and the processing of requests to the US office are going to be delayed at least a couple days. Extensive and continuing rain and flooding in the area has had an impact on our shipping / packing area. While minor, the area cannot be used untill properly cleaned up for safety reasons.

If you are concerned about your items saftey rest assured nothing is damaged or even came close. We just have some wet packing boxes to...

False outbid notices.

Hey everyone,

The issue seems to be very limited and only on a few select items, but we've noticed some false "outbid" notices going out. Be sure to check the status of the item in the "your items" page as well as on the auction itself just to be sure you were indeed outbid. We're tackling the issue and better to be safe rather than bid on other items only to find out you won the previous one.

Paypal payment notice delays / not getting processed

Some of you may have noticed some large delays getting a few select paypal payment processed recently. Due to the way we process such payment we rely on a combination of things including the paypal notifications. Unfortunetly for the past few weeks we've noticed Paypal has not been consistant in sending out such notices and some payments are simply being overlooked.
