I'm trying to bid in an auction that the price is currently 1 yen (google translates only the yen symbol, babelfish translate 1 yen ), but the item state says "New item (-)" do you know what means the minus, this is the link:

Quick question:

I asked for first class mall on a combined shipping of 2 items (figures) but when I checked the D/C, it had said you guys shipped it 'packages services' which leads me to believe you sent it parcel post (or one of the cheaper options) instead of first class. Now, I know there are weight restrictions for first class and I can understand if the possibility to send it first class isn't available - however - is there anyway that the person posting it can...

Deposit question and Buy It Now question

Hi there I'm new to Shopping Mall Japan and I have a question for the community. I signed up for an account 2 days ago and placed my deposit via PayPal yesterday around 4:30 PM Pacific Standard Time, and I still have not received my confirmation that I may begin bidding. How long does this usually take? I did not send an eCheque, but rather sent a direct payment. The deposit information page said 24 hours and I'm almost at 24 hours now. Also, do I have to use the manual bidding...

Separate Shipping Requests for Japan/US?

Hi, I was wondering if it's possible to have items "Stored in Japan" shipped, but leave the ones stored in the US for shipment later? If so, do I just say so in the comments section of the shipping request?

I had some items I had requested to be shipped to me (2 items combined) and they were shipped out accordingly on the 20th; I still haven't recieved them and it's now the 26th. All the track and confirm tells me is that they were accepted n the 20th; how long, on average, does it take for first class packages to arrive to their destination? If it helps, I live in Florida.

I logged in to check my item's status and I found something interesting that I think may be a glitch or something wonky:

Yesterday, I got a total for 3 out of the 4 auctions and I paid for the 3; the 4th auction had been unpaid for since it hadn't been totaled up or recieved yet. Now, the one I didn't pay for yet and 2 others are being batch shipped to the US and the auction I did pay for, is listed...

Excessive shipping?

I recently won an auction that consisted of 3 figures; the auction ended at 620JPY and the shipping was noted at either Yu-Pack (100 size) or Japan Postal Service (850 yen).

Now, 620JPY converted currently is about 6.82USD + 5.00 comission + 2.50 wire fee which would end up at 14.32 USD.

After the internal shipping fee costs - the ended went from 14.32 to 40.55 which is a considerable increase in cost (26.23 to be exact). I've had SEGA prize figures shipped to me...

Hey there -

I had a quick question about invoices.

When I won my first 2 auctions, I recieved an invoice for the items no later than 4 days after it closed and I paid for them; however, I bid on some things after this point and haven't recieved an invoice for them and one of them is going on 5 days old so I was just wondering how long it usually takes to get an invoice and if it's because SMJ was waiting for a couple more of my auctions of finish.

EMS Parcel stuck in Japan, problems with Japanese Customs?

I am a SMJ customer for 2 years or so, never had any trouble with my 400 + transactions, but this time, I'm really worried...

The parcel is tracked and is stuck in Tokyo (Dispatch from outward office of exchange step) for 6 days now, as all my precedent packages took 4 to 5 days to come to me (I'm from Europe, France exactly)...So I'm really worried because it's a huge parcel with thousands of bucks of collectible stuff...the parcel is about 30 Lbs I...

When making an order from the Amazon.co.jp Marketplace, how do you specify which seller you want to buy an item from? Do you copy/paste the kanji of the shop name under the url in the "Website Order" Information box?

Also, I think I understand how the fees work, but I'd like to double-check:

Hi! if i win 2 items, you send them separately or you weigh the 2 together and the shipping cost is item1 + item2 = total shipping cost.
For example: By SAL 5kg = 7300 but separately 2kg (3850) + 3 kg (5000) = 8850

Bid Wars Extended

Hi,
My last bid I found something new to me, that the time was extended 10 minutes after a bid was posted, originally the auction ended 11:23, but then after a bid i was extended 10 more minutes, that happen twice. Does anybody know about this, how you can find out if an auction has this feature or not, what is the best strategy for this feature.

So, say you're bidding on 2 auctions from the same seller - does the bidder get the option of the combined shipping (does SMJ do combined shipping)? Or does SMJ automatically just pay for shipping separately on both items?

(I'm talking shipping from the seller to the warehouse, not the warehouse to me)
