As stated in your Rules: "Please note that accounts with no activity for appx. 1 year or neglected as determined by a manager may be considered abandoned and deleted. "

How does the manager determine that the account has already been neglected? What are the requirements for an account to be considered as neglected by your manager?

In updating accounts, how do i update my account to prevent it from being closed? do i have to purchase monthly? please clarify this...

Buy it Now feature

Newly Registered user here, just depositeed and waiting for confirmation. Just a few questions, How can i use the buy it now feature in the auction listing? Should i just place the buy it now amount in the bidding page or is there another way? thanks!

Also, when can i receive the confirmation email after i deposit? i deposited using paypal.

2 manual bids at the same time?

I currently have a manual bid in for a concert ticket ending in 13 hours. There is another concert ticket auction that I want to bid on ending in about 36 hours. Can I put in a manual bid on the second auction before the first auction ends? Or do I need to up my bidding limit first?

Say you bid on an item that requires time for the seller to finish - like, a model/garage kit that is made to order and they need about 3-5 weeks to complete and ship the order as it goes case by case. How does SMJ handle these types of auctions? Or do they not?

If the seller has several options for shipping methods, is there anyway we can leave a comment saying which shipping option we want when we're bidding or does SMJ decide that for us? Which shipping method does SMJ usually choose for situations like these?

Extended Japanese Storage Time Eligibility

I have some items stored in Japan (they just got there) that I probably won't be ready to have shipped in 10 days, so I wanted to see just how large items could be to still be eligible for the 60-day storage limit. They're 5 phonebook magazines that, if stacked on top of each other, should only take up roughly 6"x7"x10" of room. Is that too big, or could they stay there for a longer period of time?

Just wondering, has there been a change in the Yen Rate? A few days ago I got an invoice saying that the Yen Rate was 86, now(today) I got 2 invoices saying the Yen Rate is now 84? lol...

EDIT: And I just saw that Paypal still has the Yen->USD exchange rate at 86 :S

deposit refund

I just wanted to ask, how long does it take for a cash deposit refund to be processed?

Also, I have another query.
Yesterday my total bidding limit was 77415 and I had a shipping invoice worth $14.15 to pay. I sent an email to SMJ asking them to deduct that amount from my deposit funds, then refund the remainder to me. Today, the shipped package has been marked as 'Paid', but the bidding limit has been reduced to 8415. I haven't made any bids during...

I was wondering, on average, what the grace period is for sellers to send you items that people purchase via here? I only ask because I had won an auction 4 days ago and it had listed as seller paid but not that SMJ had received the item. The seller actually lives in a prefecture of Tokyo so I had thought that the item would have made it to the warehouse by now if the person had shipped it after payment.

I know on ebay, the grace period is usually about 3...

Hi,
I'm thinking that this is the equivalent to reserve price in Ebay, if that is the case does it works exactly the same? When I was bidding for an item the starting price was 1000 yens, but my max bid was 10000 yens, the auction ended (it has automatic extension) and now it is extended for 24 more hours and it shows my bid as the maximum bid. Could you explain how this works?

When you only want part of what's in an auction and want the rest scrapped to save on international shipping, how do you go about that? Do you email customer service or send a shipping request specifying what part you want to keep? Does it help to send pictures of what you want to keep and say "please throw away the rest"?

I was just wondering what the estimated time of arrival to the SMJ US warehouse once something is labeled Batch to the US office?

I've noticed that it seems differ; one of my items had gotten to the warehouse within 3 days and a few have been in the 'batch to US office' for about 5 days now. I had been waiting for all of the items to reach the US warehouse before making a shipping request hence why I was wondering how long it normally takes.

It's about japan storage...I know that items are stored for 1 month , but I would like to know if it's just 30 days long before auto-shippement or a little more (35/38 days)? Because I reach 30 days limit and I'm hesitant to do a last bid (I would receive all my items in only one parcel)...
